This system allows clients to see a dramatic difference in no time. The Zoom! Chairside Whitening System is safe, effective, fast and simple. We will evaluate the shade of your teeth and examine your smile to determine whether you are an ideal candidate for this procedure. For best results, a professional cleaning is recommended before any whitening treatment is started.

At the whitening appointment, the Zoom! whitening gel is applied to your teeth and the Zoom! light activates the bleaching compound – the gel and light work together to gently penetrate the teeth in a efficient manner. The gel can be applied and activated for up to three 15-minute sessions. After the gel is removed and the teeth washed, a Zoom!-designed fluoride treatment is performed to minimize any sensitivity. Finally, another shade evaluation of the teeth is done. In many cases, you are given take-home bleaching trays to help you maintain your new, beautiful, instant white smile.

Replace missing teeth
Ready to replace your missing tooth or teeth? The teams at Kootenay Smile Studio can help you. It might be a dental bridge that we recommend. The teeth on either side of the missing tooth are prepared for a crown, a mold is made and a false tooth is fastened to the bridge that connects the two crowns.
Another option is an implant and a crown. An articifical root is implanted into your jaw and then a tooth (called a crown) is placed on it. The size, colour and shape will be matched so that no one can tell it’s not your own tooth!

After looking at your teeth and jaw, the options are all thoroughly discussed with you so you can select the best method to replace the missing tooth or teeth.
