Dr. Peter Lawczynski

Changing Lives With Beautiful Smiles!

Dentists You Can Trust

You want a dentist; someone obviously qualified and experienced but it’s equally important that you choose someone you can trust implicitly. You want to know you aren’t being ‘sold’ something you don’t need and you want to know when you move forward with your treatment, you are in the best possible care. Integrity, honesty, reliability… it’s the cornerstone of what we do.

Dr. Peter Lawczynski

DDS

Peter was born in Europe and spent time in Poland and Austria prior to coming to Canada in 1982, where his family settled in Edmonton. After completing his Bachelor of Science degree, Peter received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Alberta in 1998. That same year, Peter and his wife Paulette moved to Castlegar where Peter began his dental practice.

After years of operating a successful practice, Peter found a love for cosmetic dentistry. In order to offer his clients the highest level of care and expertise in this area, Peter first studied at the Millennium Institute in Calgary, and later under the direction of world renowned cosmetic dentist Dr. Bill Dickerson at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI).

After completing an extensive program of courses, Peter became a graduate of cosmetic and neuromuscular dentistry (TMJ) at LVI in 2007.

“Since embarking on my journey in cosmetic and TMJ based dentistry, I realized the life-changing potential of my profession. I have witnessed a client shave off his moustache after a smile makeover and have seen another client cry, saying she will now be able to smile for her grandchildren.”

People seek Dr. Lawczynski not only for his passion, skill and care, but also for his ability to listen. Peter and his team blend their expertise with the desires of their clients to design personalized treatment plans.
In his commitment to provide dental excellence to his clients, Dr. Lawczynski and his team continue to take the most current courses on emerging trends and technologies in cosmetic and neuromuscular dentistry.

In his spare time, Peter enjoys outdoor activities with his wife Paulette and their children Emma and Ethan. He particularly enjoys the amazing skiing in the Kootenays as well as soccer, tennis, and golf.
